Here on the Data Science Team at Morris Animal Foundation, we strive to work in a way that is transparent and repeatable. That means our Extract Transform and Load (ETL) code is version controlled, peer reviewed and executed nightly. However, the Golden Retriever Lifetime Study data is complicated and messy. The average dataset is synthesized from four or more distinct sources!
As of July 2024, to help us publish more confidently and frequently, the Data Science Team is moving from an annual to a quarterly release cycle. We are working hard to update smaller portions of our data more often.
As part of our commitment to transparency, we want you to know what we are working on and when it will be available. Here is a list of our upcoming datasets by quarter. Be sure to check in periodically, as these offerings are subject to change.
FY24 4th Quarter Release – July 12th (24.4.0)
