Morris Animal Foundation Data Commons is now available for early access. The formal launch of the Data Commons will happen in October, 2019, but researchers who want to explore the resource can register for an account now and begin creating and downloading data sets.
Morris Animal Foundation Data Commons is a tool that makes much of the data from the Foundation's Golden Retriever Lifetime Study freely available for academic research. This study has been following 3,044 golden retrievers throughout their lifetime, collecting data on many aspects of their lives, including behavior, diet, environment, lifestyle and medical diagnosis information. Most of this information is included in the Data Commons.
